An Ohio school district has voted to allow select staff-embers to carry guns on school property. According to our news partners at 21 Alive, the Montpelier School Board on Wednesday, voted unanimously to approve the right for certain staff members to carry concealed handguns on school grounds during the day. There are stipulations in place, however. The policy does not include teachers and those selected will have to undergo rigorous tactical training. School District Superintendent, Dr. Jamie Grime says, the biggest reason behind implementing the new policy is concern for the safety of students.
