Mobile Meth Lab Found In Muncie Wal-Mart

MUNCIE, Ind. (WOWO):  A mobile meth lab was found in a Wal-Mart bathroom.
A suspicious backpack left inside the men's room at a Muncie Wal-Mart had to be ushered out of the building by troopers with protective respirators and suits.  They called it an active meth lab, and the health department was called in for an inspection.
Special crews were called in to decontaminate both the mens and womens bathroom.  Police say a trend with meth makers is to leave behind the deadly explosive chemicals in public areas rather than at their own home, and they eventually come back for the finished product.  It also means the potential of anyone encountering toxic and hazardous meth trash becomes more of a possibility.
If you encounter any any suspicious item or see suspicious activity, please contact the Indiana State Police or call the Drug Tip Line at 1-800-453-4756.  You can also go to www.meth.in.gov and click on the “Report Suspected Meth Activity” Link.
