An autopsy was performed this afternoon on the body of a black male who was pronounced dead at a local hospital last Sunday.
He is being identified as 22-year–old Jeremy Walker of Fort Wayne.
Walker was taken to the hospital on December, 7th, after he was shot while in a car on Milton Street.
The preliminary autopsy found that the cause of death was gunshot wounds and the manner of his death was a homicide.
In the meantime, the incident is still under investigation by Fort Wayne police.
Walker is the 28th homicide victim for Fort Wayne and Allen County this year.
