Miloford Man Arrested after Baseball Bat Attack

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Milford man has been arrested on multiple charges, including possession of meth, after a baseball bat attack on another man.

It was late last month when investigators say 21 year-old Gage Woods entered a home in the 1200 block of Raggedy Ann Road in Cromwell and began an argument with the homeowner. They say Wood attacked the homeowner with a baseball bat, injuring the victim’s shoulder, stomach and face.

Last week, investigators learned Wood was at Kosciusko Community Hospital and went there to arrest him. They say Wood first tried using his brother's identity. Deputies also say he was carrying meth.

He faces felony battery with a deadly weapon, possession of methamphetamine, and false informing charges.
