Millersburg Town Marshall Facing Charges for Alleged Possession of Women’s Underwear

ELKHART, Ind. (WOWO): A Millersburg Town Marshal is facing criminal charges for the alleged possession of women’s underwear for unauthorized purposes.

According to court documents, Marshal David Hathaway's son's girlfriend, who lived in the same home at the time says, last fall, she discovered her underwear went missing.

She told authorities she and her boyfriend placed a hidden camera in their room, then viewed images of Hathaway smelling her undergarments. The court papers detail Hathaway's alleged confession that he took the underwear and admitted that he may have a problem.

The prosecutor’s office has charged Hathaway with two counts of criminal conversion for the incidents. He faces up to a year in jail and a $5,000 fine.
