LIMA, Ohio (WOWO): Donald Trump’s running mate will make a campaign stop in northwestern Ohio Friday.
Republican Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is scheduled to be in Lima for a rally Friday night at the University of Northwestern Ohio.
It will be his first campaign stop in Ohio since last week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Pence is making a swing through the Midwest this week with stops in Wisconsin and Michigan as well.
The campaign stop comes after Ohio Governor John Kasich refused to endorse Trump’s presidential campaign yesterday.
