MedPro finishes expansion

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The MedPro group has expanded its staff by more than 220 people since January 2014. Now, it’s expanding its offices.

Mayor Tom Henry will speak at a ribbon cutting this afternoon to officially open an 10,800-square-foot building addition, according to the MedPro Group.

The group employs 700 people with about 400 people based in Fort Wayne. The addition is to accommodate the new positions. It includes 84 additional workstations, two conference rooms, a new outdoor patio space and a renovated cafeteria area.

“Since 1899, MedPro Group has been proud to call Fort Wayne our home, ” said MedPro President and Chief Executive Officer Tim Kenesey. “Both Fort Wayne and the state of Indiana provide an excellent environment for business and employee growth as well as expanded customer solutions.”

MedPro currently has 47 open job positions, according to the Journal Gazette. The openings include actuary, claims, finance, legal, underwriting and sales positions. The salaries range from $35,000 to $100,000.
