FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The City of Fort Wayne will hold a press conference at 2 this afternoon to announce the city's participation in a national initiative. Officials say the goal of the White House's “My Brother's Keeper Challenge” is to ensure that all youth have opportunities to improve their outcomes and overcome barriers to success. During this afternoon's meeting, Mayor Tom Henry will discuss how My Brother's Keeper will build upon the city's ongoing participation in the Cities United partnership, a national effort aimed at eliminating violence-related deaths of African American males.
