Man Suspected in Parents’ Death Back in Indiana

CROWN POINT, Ind. (AP): A northwestern Indiana man who's a suspect in his parents' slayings has been returned to Indiana as authorities prepare to file charges in that case.

Thirty-four-year-old Thomas J. Snow was recently extradited to Indiana from Minnesota, where he was arrested as a fugitive in October.

Lake County Sheriff John Buncich says his department is preparing to file homicide charges against Snow in connection with the deaths of 66-year-old Joyce Snow and 68-year-old Clifford Snow.

The couple's decomposing bodies were found in their home near Lowell, about 20 miles south of Gary, in October. Both had suffered massive blunt force trauma injuries to their heads.

Snow is being held in the Newton County Jail on an unrelated armed robbery charge.
