Man Stabbed Near West Killea and Harrison

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are investigating a stabbing on the cities southwest side.

Around 11:47 p.m. Thursday night, police got a call from a woman who said someone was bleeding on her porch. At first, a witness said she heard yelling, and there was both a man and woman with the victim, and the woman was heard saying, “He's bleeding from everywhere. He's got to go!”

Shortly after, police received another stabbing call around 12:13 a.m. Friday morning in the backyard of a home on Webster Street. It was there that a man with a stab wound was found near West Killea and Harrison St., between two houses and in the half-fetal position on the ground.

The victim was covering a cut on his lower lip, which was completely sliced through, as well as a stab wound to his stomach and swollen ankle. He had difficulty talking, but was able to answer yes or no questions. Police were able to determine the suspects were black males, younger-looking and short in stature.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition, but has since been listed in stable condition.

As of now it's unknown why the man was stabbed, or where the actual act occurred.
