Man Serving 318 Years for Home Invasion Gets 62 More

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ An Indianapolis man sentenced to 318 years in prison for a violent home invasion in which two women were raped and one of them was shot twice has been sentenced to 62 years in prison for an unrelated murder.

Twenty-two-year-old Adrian Anthony was sentenced Wednesday for the November 2013 shooting of Robbie Gibson during a robbery.  A jury convicted him of murder, robbery and carrying an unlicensed handgun. Co-defendant Christopher Bell was sentenced to 45 years in prison for murder and robbery. A jury convicted both men in April.

Prosecutors say Anthony's sentence would be served after completing the 318-year sentence.

They say Anthony also faces an Aug. 10 trial on charges stemming from a violent home invasion in October 2013.

A message seeking comment was left for Anthony's attorney.
