KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Cromwell man is in serious condition after crashing into a tree last night.

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to County Road 1000 North just east of the intersection with Webster Road and found 20-year-old Travis Mrozinski inside his car, bleeding profusely.

He was immediately transported to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Apparently Mrozinski had been driving eastbound on County Road 1000 North when his vehicle left the road at a “high rate of speed” and slammed into the tree. He had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

There’s no word yet if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
