Man Sentenced for 2012 Shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man who was on the run for nearly two years following a 2012 shooting, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
<br /> An Allen Superior Court judge sentenced 32-year-old Quinn James of Fort Wayne to serve 15 years in prison, with five suspended. In July of 2012, James shot Antonio Hamlet near Fairfax Avenue and Standish Drive.

James remained on the loose until was captured this spring. Last month, James accepted a plea deal where he admitted guilt for aggravated battery with charges of attempted murder dropped.
