Man Pleads Guilty to Robbery after Bragging about the Crime

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man who pulled off a bank heist in Harlan this summer will likely be going to prison.

29-year-old Michael Eberle plead guilty to one count of armed robbery on Wednesday, according to the Journal Gazette.

The Fort Wayne man was previously indicted after robbing handgun an iAB Bank in Harlan with a handgun on June 16th.

The count of being a felon in possession of a handgun will likely be dismissed, saving him from the maximum 25-year prison sentence.

Erbele is known to have bragged to a friend about the robbery, and later burning some of the cash he got away with.
