Man Pleads Guilty to Murder and Robbery in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 23-year-old has plead guilty to Class B robbery and the murder of a Fort Wayne man.

44-year-old Antonio Nino was shot, and later died in the hospital after he got into a fight with Jamel Coleman at the Smoke House Tobacco Outlet. Nino was the owner of the shop, located on the 2200 block of Lafayette Avenue.

Coleman attempted to rob the store and according to the Journal Gazette, he wanted to rob Nino of whatever cash he had.

The FBI received tips that Coleman was on a Greyhound bus to Indianapolis. That's where he was arrested after he committed the crimes.

The plea deal calls for a maximum sentence of 60 years in prison. He will be sentenced on February 27th.
