Man Held for October Truck Bombing

AUBURN, Ind. (WOWO): Police have a man in custody they say is connected to a vehicle bombing last fall in Auburn.

Thirty-five year old Ricky Williford was already at the DeKalb County Jail in a separate case.

On the morning of October 14, authorities say the bomb exploded in a pickup truck on West Ensley Avenue in Auburn. Blast busted glass and sent the windshield nearly 100 feet. 


A nearby building also had windows blown out.

Williford is charged with possessing a destructive device or explosive, a level two felony. Federal and state investigators are assisting with the case.
