Man in critical condition after Thanksgiving shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Shots were fired outside of a local pub after closing time, and police are looking for anyone with information.

Around 3:11 a.m. on Thursday morning, officers responded to the plaza parking lot at St. Joe Center Road and St. Joe Road after gunshots were reported.

Security officers on site located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.  Paramedics provided some medical attention, but he was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.  They say the identity of the victim is being withheld until the family has been notified.

Investigators determined the shots happened after the area pub was closed, but several people were outside the established in the parking lot when the shots were fired.

Police took notice to a fleeing vehicle, and when they caught up with it they took the driver to police headquarters for questioning.

At this time they say there’s no suspect information and no arrests.  Fort Wayne Police are asking for any tips of anyone in the area that may have witnessed the events, or anyone with information, to contact them.
