Man arrested after police chase

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man was arrested after a car chase through Fort Wayne Monday.

Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department attempted to pull over Zakrey Armstrong Monday afternoon, according to our Partners in News at ABC21. Armstrong was pursued for about a half-hour after refusing to stop on Washington Center Road.

The chase was ended after officers used stop sticks on Armstrong’s vehicle on Cross Creek Boulevard. Armstrong is facing charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, and multiple other charges.

The court hearing is scheduled for Monday, April 2.
