Man and Woman Arrested at Warsaw Hotel

WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Friday, Warsaw Police were called to the Comfort Inn after hotel staff couldn't get into a room where the occupants should have checked out. Officers say the safety bar on the door was locked, but they could see a man sleeping on the bed. After several tries, the man was awakened and opened the door. Once inside, officers found a one-pot meth lab, precursors to meth-making, syringes, and finished meth product. A woman was also in the room. 33-year-old Richard Cain, of Warsaw, was taken into custody and booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on a B felony charge of dealing, delivering, or manufacturing meth. He is being held on a $100,000 bond. 24-year-old Courtney Bowling, of North Webster, was also taken into custody and booked in the jail on a charge of possession of over 3 grams of meth. She was also charged with possession of stolen property after the vehicle the two drove to the hotel was found to have a stolen license plate on it. She's being held on a $25,000 bond.
