Lutheran Health Network Affiliate, Shared Services Center, On Pace to Add New Jobs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Shared Services Center, an affiliate of Lutheran Health Network, is on pace to add more than 200 new jobs within the next year. The announcement comes nearly seven months after Governor Mike Pence joined executives from Lutheran Health Network to share plans for the expansion of Shared Services Center, located at 1700 Magnavox Way.

The Shared Services Center officially moved to its new home on Magnavox Way December 15th. The center provides business office services such as processing of medical insurance claims, billing, appeals, insurance collection and customer service for hospitals in the region.

More than 62,000 square feet of leased space was renovated to accommodate more than 175 existing SSC employees and approximately 100 who have been hired since last year. An estimated 480 individuals will be employed at the SSC by the first quarter of 2016.

To celebrate the Shared Services Center expansion, a ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place Thursday at 3:30 p.m., at the Shared Services Center.
