Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal Is Traveling To Raise Money For Pence

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is traveling north to raise money for fellow Republican Mike Pence in Indiana this week.

Jindal will headline an event for Pence Friday at the Fort Wayne home of Heritage Food Service President Bruce Dye. The Jindal fundraiser will come one week after New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie headlined a private fundraiser for Pence in Carmel.

The Indiana Republican Party posted the event on Facebook last week with a promise to reward the best campaign telephone volunteers with free tickets to the fundraiser.

Pence has established a strong financial lead in Indiana’s gubernatorial race and has used the money to saturate the airwaves with wholesome campaign spots. Democrat John Gregg and Libertarian Rupert Boneham are running against Pence.
