Local Hearing Clinic Expands to Toledo

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): HearCare Connection is partnering with Northwest Ohio Hearing Clinic to bring a reduced cost/sliding scale fee hearing clinic to Toledo, Ohio. HearCare Connection offers significant discounts on audiology care and reduced rates on hearing aids for qualified individuals. This expansion of services to Northwest Ohio aligns with HearCare Connection's vision to serve in regions and cities across the country.

“We believe that no person should be prevented from full participation in life due to hearing loss.  The high cost of hearing aids prevents many from seeking the hearing healthcare that would significantly improve their ability to communicate with their loved ones and the world around them,” says Anna Bogdon of HearCare Connection

HearCare Connection qualifies individuals on household size and income.  Their services include hearing testing, hearing aid fitting, repair and maintenance on hearing aids, newborn hearing screenings, community screenings and a community hearing aid donation program.  HearCare Connection believes that partnering with strong, local audiology clinics brings the professional  and passionate audiologists in those communities to the larger population by taking away the financial barrier to receiving care.

“When we think about how many individuals who have hearing loss and aren’t able to obtain the hearing aids and services to help themselves, we know something has to change. We are here to provide the hearing health care needed to change the lives of many in our community.  Northwest Ohio Hearing Clinic is proud to be part of Hear Care Connection servicing those in need, giving back to the community one by one,” says Randa Mansour-Shousher of Northwest Ohio Hearing Clinic
