Local Community Center Used as Overnight Warming Shelter

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A warming shelter in the City of Fort Wayne will stay open during the overnight hours to help those who don't have a place to stay.

According to our Partners in News at 21Alive, the warming shelter at the city's Community Center on 233 W. Main Street was closed over the weekend. It will now be open overnight, or until further notice.

The Salvation Army on 2901 N. Clinton Street is no longer being used as a warming station.
