Legislators Taking Up School Guns Mandate

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Indiana lawmakers are set to again consider a proposal that would require all public and charter schools have an employee armed with a loaded gun during school hours. The House Ways and Means Committee is scheduled to discuss the financial impact of the bill today. Governor Mike Pence and other officials have said they don’t believe the state should mandate that local schools have armed workers.
