Late-Night Crash in Steuben County Leaves One in Serious Condition

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): One person is in serious condition after an accident in Steuben County Sunday night.  30-year-old Joseph Glenn, of Angola, was driving north on SR 827 when he overshot a curve just north of Lakeside cemetery, causing the vehicle to go off the east side of the road. The vehicle then came back on the road, sliding sideways, and went back off the east side, hitting an embankment and causing the vehicle to roll several times. Glenn was pinned in the vehicle for a short time and was airlifted from the scene to Parkview Hospital. He sustained a fractured shoulder and ribs and was last listed in serious but stable condition. Glenn was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash, which is still under investigation.
