Late Allen County Deputy to be honored

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): An Allen County deputy who died in the line of duty last year will be honored in Indianapolis tomorrow.

Sgt. Joe Cox died after suffering a medical emergency while in his patrol car in February 2017. He was 48.

Now our Partners in News at ABC 21 report the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police will honor him and three others Thursday night at a Fallen Officer Memorial Service, set for 7pm at the Indiana Fallen Officer and Firefighter Memorial at the corner of Government Way and Senate Avenue.

Other honorees include Indiana Conservation Officer Sgt. Ed Bollman, Boone County Deputy Jacob Pickett, and Terre Haute Officer Rob Pitts.
