Lafontaine Man Faces Charges after Shooting Wabash Road Sign

                                          


WABASH, Ind. (WOWO): A 22-year-old man is facing charges for shooting a road sign in Wabash County.

Sunday evening, Indiana Conservation Officers arrested Mark Barber of Lafontaine, after an officer spotted Barber firing two shots at a traffic sign.

Barber is being charged with criminal mischief, operating a vehicle without ever being issued a driver’s license, and for shooting from a public roadway.

Indiana Conservation Officers are encouraging all Hoosiers to follow safe firearm practices especially as we enter hunting season.
