WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): Kosciusko County is joining the regional drive for $42 million in state matching funds.
The Regional Cities Initiative Steering Committee voted Tuesday to include Kosciusko County in Northeast Indiana's bid to get Regional Cities money.
The County will help the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership create quality of life projects to be submitted to the state.
Regions have until July 1st to submit proposals to the state for $42 million to be awarded this year. The goal of the initiative is to make Indiana a magnet for talent attraction by creating a national identity for Indiana cities.
