They were allegedly involved in a recent daytime home burglary.
This morning, in an attempt to locate a possible burglary suspect, officers approached a female leaving the residence that was identified as Samantha Rash, 18, at Excalibur Place, Cromwell. Rash led officers back to the residence where they located Stephen Possell, 18, Syracuse. Both were then taken to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department where they provided information about their involvement in a day-time burglar of Possell’s parent’s residence on December 14th in the Fox Run Addition of Syracuse.
Possell, who had no longer been living in his parent’s residence, had entered into the home along with Rash and two other male juveniles and stole various items including an Apple I Pad, television, Blue Ray recorder, and an I Pod.
Possell then pawned the items in Fort Wayne and was visually recorded during his transaction.
Possell and Rash are both preliminarily being charged with felony burglary and felony theft according to the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. They both have individual bonds of $10,000.
