Kosciusko County Officers Investigating Sunday Stabbing

KOSCIUSKCO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Kosciusko County officers are currently investigating a stabbing incident that occurred Sunday afternoon, between a mother and her adult daughter.

 

Deputies were called around 1:00 p.m., to a Leesburg home located on North Sullivan Road. Police arrived and found the victim, 60-year-old Ada Dill, who was suffering from a puncture wound to the chest.  Officers also located the suspect, 28-year-old Stephanie Nelson, who was also determined to be the daughter of Dill.  According to police, Nelson had been talking with her mother in the kitchen, when she suddenly pulled out a knife and allegedly stabbed Dill once in the chest.

 

Dill was taken to the hospital in serious condition.  Nelson was taken to the Kosciusko Community Hospital for evaluation.  The incident is still under investigation and will be forwarded to the Kosciusko Count Prosecutor’s Office for further review.
