Kosciusko County Man Busted for False Informing

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): A Kosciusko County man is behind bars for accusing a police officer of murder.

32-year-old Michael Roy Wiggins is facing charges of Obstruction of Justice and False informing for falsely accusing a North Webster police officer of murder.

It all started when Wiggins contacted Tennessee Law officials claiming that Officer David May was behind the murder of a missing woman—claiming that he used tranquilizers to abduct her, murder her, and then Wiggins said May buried her body in a farm in Kosciusko County.

Tennessee police contacted The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s department and they determined the accusations were false. Further investigation found that Wiggins had been arrested by Officer May for OWI in 2011.

Investigators also determined that the accusations were in fact an attempt at revenge against the officer who had arrested Wiggins on two previous occasions.
