FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Komets (1-1, 2pts) are back in action tonight, as they head to Kalamazoo (0-1, 0pts) to face the Wings at 7:30 pm.

Coach Gary Graham tells WOWO News he’s looking to correct some problems he noticed during last weekend’s games against Indy and Cincinnati:

“I didn’t like our discipline. I think we took too many penalties. The stick infractions, they’re calling pretty seriously this year. We’ve got to make sure we don’t end up in the penalty box.”

The Ks will have some new teammates with them, including forward 25-year-old J.C. Campagna, whom they acquired from the Allen Americans earlier this week. Graham describes him as a “skill player” with “an NHL shot.”

The Komets will play the K-Wings again tomorrow night, in the Komets’ home opener at the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. You can hear both games on WOWO and at Komets.com.
