KKK Picture Stripped of Blue Ribbon at OH County Fair

GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WOWO): A picture taken at a 1924 Ku Klux Klan rally has been stripped of its blue ribbon at an Ohio county fair after a complaint that it was offensive. The photo won first place in an antique photo category at the Greene County Fair in Xenia. It shows robed and unrobed KKK members kneeling in a circle at a Dayton rally in September 1924. Burning crosses can be seen in the background. Fair official Jeff Barr says he thought the person who complained felt like the fair was endorsing the picture by giving it a prize and that the fair doesn't want to offend anyone.
