Kendallville Police Pursuit Leads to Arrest

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): A police pursuit in Noble County lead to the arrest of a Kendallville man.


On Wednesday, officers with the Kendallville Police Department started to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcycle for no registration and because officers had reason to believe the driver had an arrest warrant out of Noble County. A vehicle pursuit then ensured.


The driver of the motorcycle was able to get away on a railroad access along the Bixler Lake archery range. However, the driver was later spotted by an undercover Image Officer. The driver, later identified as 29-year-old Kriss Bauman, was taken into custody. He's facing charges for resisting law enforcement with a vehicle and he's facing charges for being a habitual traffic violator.


Bond was set at $7,500.00.
