Kendallville pair arrested driving stolen car

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A man and woman from Kendallville were arrested Sunday night for allegedly driving a stolen car.

An Indiana State Police trooper stopped a 2003 Honda Civic on northbound State Road 3 near County Road 200 South after a plate check found the car was reported as stolen.

Police arrested driver Jessica Ann Michelbrink, 32, and the passenger, Jerremmy Lee Hall, 19.

The trooper then discovered Michelbrink had five active arrest warrants, with three from Noble County and two from DeKalb County. Hall had two arrest warrants active out of Noble County. Both were arrested and taken to the Noble County Jail.

Michelbrink is facing a felony charge of theft, a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended, plus arrest warrants from Noble County for failure to appear, driving while suspended, and possession of marijuana. She also has active warrants from DeKalb County for dealing a look alike drug, and driving while suspended-prior.

Hall is facing a felony charge of theft and arrest warrants from Noble County for a probation violation and possession of meth.
