Kendallville Man Arrested After Police Find Him Hiding in Dumpster

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): Just after 9 p.m. Friday, Noble County officials attempted to make a traffic stop at US 6 and Brian’s Place in Kendallville for equipment violations. Once officials pulled the vehicle over, the unidentified driver fled the scene. Police began tracking the suspect using fresh snow tracks from the incident location. With the information provided, officers believed the subject was Anthony Tucker, who has active warrants through Noble County for driving offenses.

One of the officers later saw Tucker heading toward a nearby nursing home, which led to crews checking tall large dumpsters behind the facility. While opening one dumpster, officers were able to locate the subject, whose identity was confirmed as being 30-year-old Anthony Tucker of Kendallville. Tucker was arrested for Felony resisting with a vehicle, resisting on foot, Habitual Traffic Violator, and arrested for his active arrest warrant.
