Johnny Appleseed Festival starts Saturday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): While fall is technically a week away, Fort Wayne is unofficially kicking off fall this weekend.

The Johnny Appleseed Festival is taking over Johnny Appleseed Park on Saturday and Sunday.

There will be crafts, food booths and traders during the festival. Festival-goers can park for free at IPFW and Concordia High School and ride a shuttle to the park.

The festival runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
