IPFW Planning “Crucial Conversation” on Teacher Recruitment and Retention

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): IPFW is sponsoring a special event to talk about the so-called teacher shortage in Indiana next week.

The College of Education and Public Policy will be hosting what they call a “Crucial Conversation” event in the Walb International Ballroom North on November 12th from 7pm to 8:30pm. The group says policy makers and lawmakers will be shown personal perspectives of how the state's educational reform efforts have affected teachers.

It'll be moderated by political science associate professor Andrew Downs, and will include a review of the state of education in Indiana over the past 15 years. Call 260-481-6926 to find out more.
