Indy Info Tech Company to Add 400 Jobs by 2018

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ An information technology consulting company says it will expand its Indianapolis headquarters and create up to 400 jobs over the next five years.

The company doing business as Knowledge Services said Tuesday it will invest more than $840,000 to lease and equip additional space for software development and client support services at its headquarters on the city's northeast side. It plans to hire people for software development, accounting, customer support, training and business development.
 
The company currently employs more than 300 workers in the Indianapolis area, 650 across the state and more than 1,100 nationwide.
 
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered the company up to $2.35 million in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in training grants based on the company's job creation plans.
