INDOT Warns Of Slushy Roads

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is warning drivers that road conditions may get worse before they get better.

Crews have been treating roadways with salt and calcium chloride.  As it starts to break up the snow and ice, it will cause slushy and difficult driving conditions.  INDOT warns that everyone on the road should expect fair-to-difficult driving conditions across Northeast Indiana for the next several days.

INDOT suggests drivers to slow down on the roads and be patient as they work to bring conditions back to normal.
