Indianapolis Family Asks for Help Finding Stolen Camper

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – An Indianapolis family whose camping trailer was stolen is urging anyone with information to come forward.

Army veteran Nathan Press tells WISH-TV (http://bit.ly/1A8ZKC3 ) he discovered the Shasta Flyte trailer was missing from a storage facility in Lawrence on Thursday. He says he bought the trailer less than a year ago for family camping trips around the area.

His wife, Michelle Press, says she's devastated about the trailer because it was their home away from home. She says all of their camping equipment also was stolen.

The family says they'll still have to make payments on the trailer because its insurance lapsed at the end of the year and didn't renew automatically.

The Lawrence police department is investigating.
