Indiana Woman Injured in Boston Marathon blast

HIGHLAND, Ind. (AP) _ An Indiana woman is among the victims of Monday’s deadly bombing at the Boston Marathon.

Becky Roche tells “Good Morning America” that her mother, Beth Roche, was cheering on her daughter near the finish line when the blasts occurred. She suffered serious leg injuries.

Roche says her mother is recovering from surgery.

The blasts killed three people and injured more than 170. A person familiar with the investigation told The Associated Press Monday that the bombs were made of pressure cookers.

Becky Roche did not return a call from The Associated Press seeking comment Tuesday. A message was left at Beth Roche’s home in Highland.
