Indiana Wesleyan University Students Surprise Pizza Delivery Driver

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Marion pizza delivery driver was surprised with a tip of a lifetime. Charlie Alcock, Indiana Wesleyan University Chaplain, says Keith Newman, the CEO of Residential Education, was trying to illustrate a point to students at Indiana Wesleyan University, “Do for one what you wish you could do for everyone.”

Newman then ordered two pizzas. While the delivery was on it's way, the 3,000 students started writing inspirational notes and Newman also took up an offering. When unsuspecting delivery driver James Gilpin showed up, he was met by thousands of students. He was then presented with a $1,268 tip, $70 in gift cards and thousands of handwritten inspirational notes.

Gilpin says he will use the money to help with Christmas for his children.
