Indiana to Receive Two Million Dollars to Retrain Laid-Off Workers

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Indiana will receive more than two million dollars in federal funds to retrain laid-off workers so they can get new jobs. The money was part of nearly 50 million in grants to 30 states by the U.S. Department of Labor. The Hoosier share is the second largest per-capita allocation of the funding which will go toward education or on-the-job training programs.
