Indiana Police Concerned About Ohio Pot Vote

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) _ Ohio voters could hold a bit of Indiana's future in their hands… at least as far as crime goes.

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted says there will be a question on the November 3rd ballot over whether or not to legalize marijuana in the Buckeye State. That has police in Indiana concerned.

The Allen County Sheriff's Office tells our partners in news at 21Alive that, should Ohio become the fifth state in the nation to legalize recreational pot usage, it'll lead to people in Indiana crossing the state line “in droves” to get it… and that will lead to more arrests, and more of your tax dollars paying for prosecution and jail time.
