Indiana Joining 11 Other States in Lawsuit Against EPA

INDIANA, (WOWO): Indiana is joining 11 other states in a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency.

The suit is in response to the Clean Air Act announced in early June to lessen carbon dioxide emissions from power plants. Indiana is just the latest to join in on the lawsuit that says the EPA cannot legally regulate existing sources of air pollution.

Governor Mike Pence says such an act would have to come from Congress. The Clean Air Act orders all states have to reduce emission from coal-powered plants starting in 20-20.
