Indiana Customers Due $32M from 6 Utilities

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indiana utility customers are due to receive a collective $32 million from the state's largest power companies. The Indianapolis Business Journal reports six large utilities budgeted $74 million for Energizing Indiana, a state-mandated energy-saving initiative paid for from the rates paid by customers. Energizing Indiana officials attribute the unspent funds to growing pains after the program began in January 2012.
