Improvements to Diebold Road Approved for New Shopping Center

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Redevelopment Commission has approved a $7 million shopping plaza on Fort Wayne's north side.

According to the Journal Gazette, a confirmatory resolution was issued for Dupont Corner, with  $3.6 million set aside for road widening and improvements to Diebold Road.

Construction will start this spring on the complex at the corner of Diebold and East Dupont Rd. Proposed businesses for the shopping center include a restaurant, hair salon and pharmacy.

Developer Don Steininger told the Journal Gazette, Parkview is a big reason for choosing the Dupont Road location. The Parkview Regional Medical Center close by makes the area an ideal place for development.
