Improvements Coming to Fort Wayne Strip Mall

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne strip mall is getting a make-over.

The Journal Gazette reports the old strip mall, known as Parkwest Center next to Jefferson Pointe, will be receiving a 3$ million renovation.

The 17-store mall is dated, and construction crews plan to draw in new customers by repainting the outside and adding improvements to the parking lot.

The improvements will help the mall match the variety of high-end stores across Illinois Road.

The strip mall will also change its name to Jefferson Commons. Construction will be finished this spring.
