Illinois man arrested after police chase in Noble, Lagrange Counties

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Bartonville, IL man led police on a chase in Noble and LaGrange Counties last night.

According to a release from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, deputies joined the pursuit on northbound State Road 9 just before 10 at the Noble and LaGrange County line, chasing 20-year-old Jamie Sellers until his vehicle drove over some “stop sticks” put down on the road by a Wolcottville officer, running into a ditch at the intersection with 350 South Road in LaGrange.

Sellers was charged with criminal recklessness, resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, reckless driving, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The release did not specify what started the chase.
